Welcome To Elice Dental Care, Dr. Mark Fakory!
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Mark Fakory is now our resident endodontist! When many dental practices have to refer patients out for endodontic therapy, we have made it easier for ours to get the treatment they need conveniently and confidently.
What Does an Endodontist Do?
Endodontists are specialists in saving teeth. They focus mostly on the internal part of teeth, known as the pulp, where the nerves and blood vessels reside, and the surrounding tissues. When you need a complex root canal, for instance, you’ll want to see an endodontist who can perform endodontic surgery, as most general dentists do not receive specialized training in that area.
About Dr. Mark
Dr. Mark received his DDS from the NYU College of Dentistry. After dental school, he completed a rigorous two-year general practice residency at the East Orange VA Medical Center, where he proudly served as Chief Resident. He then began practicing as a general dentist until he discovered his true calling in the specialty of endodontics. Dr. Mark returned to NYU College of Dentistry to complete his advanced specialty training in endodontics.
Because Dr. Mark is passionate about service and community and committed to patient-centered care, we know he’s going to fit right in at our practice. Like everyone on our team, he believes in treating patients like family, ensuring they feel heard, informed, and comfortable at every stage of care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and growing family, working on DIY projects around the house, and exploring new parks with his dog. A true family man at heart, he brings that same sense of care and connection into his practice each day.
What Does This Mean For You?
You may never need an endodontist in your life, but if you do, it’s nice to know you can come to us, the caring dental team that already knows you well. Having your root canal or endodontic surgery at our office means you don’t have to experience the inconvenience of going to an unfamiliar office where they may not have the same accommodating atmosphere, appointment availability, or caring approach to dental care as we do.
Additionally, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find an endodontist who accepts dental insurance benefits. You know that we work with most major insurance networks to make your treatment accessible, and that includes endodontic therapy.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Mark to our team! We are so excited to have him. If you are due for an appointment or have concerns about your oral health, please contact our office located in Hazlet, NJ. We’re here to help!
