Joanne
Dental Hygienist
Joanne is a dedicated dental hygienist and has been a valued member of the Elice Dental Care team for 13 years. She helps patients feel at ease by thoroughly reviewing and documenting their medical history before performing periodontal assessments, clinical exams, and cleanings. Based on her findings, she provides personalized recommendations to support optimal oral health.
Joanne earned her degree in dental hygiene from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), where she was awarded the Golden Scaler Award for outstanding academic performance.
She holds a license to administer local anesthesia, which helps ensure a more comfortable experience for her patients. She was also among a select group of hygienists in New Jersey to complete a three-month course at Jersey Shore Medical Center, earning certification in local anesthesia administration.
A lifelong learner, Joanne recently became certified as an Orofacial Myologist and continues to stay up to date with the latest advancements in dental care through ongoing education focused on maintaining healthy teeth and gums.

Dental Hygienist
Elyse has been a dedicated and trusted dental hygienist at our practice for 15 years. Known for her skill, compassion, and gentle approach, she prioritizes patient comfort while delivering exceptional care. She conducts comprehensive dental and periodontal exams, provides thorough cleanings and advanced gum therapy, and performs digital X-rays, sealant applications, and fluoride treatments.
Elyse earned her AAS degree in Dental Hygiene from New York City College of Technology (NYCTC) and later obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Technology from Thomas Edison University. She has completed advanced courses in periodontal therapy at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the University of Pennsylvania, and the Jersey Coast Dental Forum. Elyse is also a past recording secretary for the Central NJ Dental Hygienists’ Association.
